# UpCoins

> UpCoins is a rewards token on Robinhood Chain built by food service professionals. Holders earn USDG automatically from on-chain trading activity. The team behind UpCoins built OrderUp, a live UK food delivery platform that charges restaurants a flat 4% platform fee.

## What UpCoins is

UpCoins (ticker: UP, also written $UP) is the token at the centre of the ecosystem. UpCoins is a UK-based food service and hospitality technology company founded and led by people with over 60 years of combined operating experience in that industry. UpCoins is the rewards token; OrderUp is the operational product. The token was previously known as SDX.

## UpCoins (the token)

- Network: Robinhood Chain.
- Contract address (Robinhood Chain): 0x753f4efe3b7372196f60dbddde42d2b00f727777. Always verify the address before buying.
- Total supply: 1,000,000,000 UpCoins, fixed. Buybacks burn supply over time, so it only ever shrinks.
- Allocation: 95% (950M UpCoins) community, in circulation. 5% (50M UpCoins) treasury, locked. The lock exists so the coin cannot be sniped: bots and early buyers cannot sweep 5% of the supply the moment trading opens.
- Transaction fee: a flat 3% on every buy and sell. The fee is split the same way every time:
  - 15% of the fee (0.45% of the transaction) is paid straight back to holders in USDG.
  - 70% of the fee (2.1% of the transaction) funds OrderUp's marketing, R&D, and sales teams.
  - 15% of the fee (0.45% of the transaction) buys UpCoins back from the market and burns it.
- Holder rewards are paid in USDG directly to holder wallets by an automated on-chain distributor. No staking, no claiming, no gas on the holder side. Every distribution is verifiable on-chain, and listed on the rewards tracker at https://upcoins.xyz/rewards.
- Eligibility: the distributor only counts wallets holding at least 25,000 UpCoins. Wallets below that threshold are not included in distributions.
- Past distributions do not indicate future rewards. Rewards depend on trading activity and are not guaranteed.
